ACM20110 - Certificate II in Animal Studies, VETiS, Geelong

Certificate II in Animal Studies

Course Description

The Certificate II in Animal Studies is designed to prepare students for entry into animal related industries. Subjects involve a combination of theory and practical training with practical and hands on experience being our main focus. Saddle On invites key industry speakers to supplement the exposure of students to the industry and creating important industry contacts. This nationally recognised Qualification provides skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in performing basic core skills in Animal Care.

Saddle On is also a very busy horse riding school with 30 of our own horses, and a variety of animals at our animal farm (sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, snakes, ferret, emu and a donkey). We are currently functioning at full capacity therefor can offer students full exposure to all that is involved with catering to the maintenance of a large range of different animals.
