Horse Riding Lessons Geelong

For those keen to learn horse riding, Saddle On horse riding school offers a variety of horse riding lessons for adults and children. All tuition is provided by accredited and fully qualified riding instructors.

Lessons operate regardless of weather conditions -  we offer both outdoor and sheltered indoor riding arenas, as well as games, show jumping and cross country arenas.

Group Horse Riding Lessons (1 hour)

Casual Attendance - $31.00ea
Horses and times dependant on availablilty - Bookings essential

Term Fees - $26.00ea (for a one hour lesson if paying in advance for the full term.)
Horses and times guaranteed - Terms based on Victorian School terms. 

Group Lesson Times

Group lessons include dressage, show jumping, cross country and games.

Mininum child age to learn horse riding is five years old. (if younger, contact us about playgroups or led pony rides)

Beginner groups can start horses riding classes at anytime so call and we will find a group for you.

For Geelong horse riding centres, Saddle On Riding School is located at 550 Elcho Rd, Lovely Banks in Victoria.

Private Horse Riding Lessons

Private horse riding lessons can be booked by appointment for 1 - 4 people on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Horses and times depend on availability

Bays Fun

An extra activity for your kids to have some fun in the bays before the horse riding lesson time. The kids can brush and wash horses, learn how to saddle a horse, and a lot more.

The cost is only $10 and you can pay as you go. The bays fun goes for three hours which includes the one hour riding lesson.

Rules and Regulations

• Minimum age is five years.
• ALL riders must wear log pants and appropriate closed in shoes or boots.
• Helmet MUST be worn (no exceptions) Riding boots and helmets are provided if required.
• Any children not involved in Saddle On activities must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• For your own safety and that of the riders, visitors must not climb or lean on any arena fencing.
• Strictly no admittance to the horse bays. Riders wait at the bay entrance and their horse is brought to them.
• All school horses must be led to and mounted in a controlled environment as directed by the instructors. No exceptions.
